Hi all, i have a couple of medium-large tattoos that i have wanted to have removed (desperately) for a few years now. laser removal is out of my price range at the moment so i have been researching different options.. I tried laser tattoo removal on a tattoo located on the top of my foot and had resulting second degree burns as well as a bad reaction to the treatment. additionally, the estimated time to (possible) full removal is quoted at over a year's length.. I’ve started the removal process on the side of my neck and some arabic writing on my chest. i went back to dr mills in derby, he numbed me up which stung a bit but that was worst part. i didn’t feel the pain of the lasers just movements on the skin..
[ed note: on realself, our doctors say that using a numbing cream your provider recommends is totally ok]. for my tattoo, one zap session took about two minutes including the pauses i asked (begged) for every 20-ish seconds.. Tattoo removal creams don’t work and can cause serious skin reactions that result in permanent skin or tissue damage. these creams shouldn’t be used as an alternative to fda-approved treatments..
